The name Gusèle has its roots in the Bellunese mountains where the Gusèla, from the dialect word meaning “needle", indicates an extraordinary monolith that stands out at the foot of the top of the Schiara mountain and that nature has modeled giving it the shape of a needle. Gusèles are born as a tribute to the symbol of the city of Belluno. Shoes made and sewn entirely by hand with precious and rare fabrics, to obtain footwear 100% made in the Dolomites as precious as jewels to wear.
The Scarpets, shoes par excellence of the Bellunese tradition, were expertly sewn by hand by the grandmothers of our territory. And so, even today, carrying on a heritage that is so dear to us, the Gusèles continue to be made entirely by hand and today represent a niche shoe. The limited edition of the materials used and the meticulous attention to detail fully reflect Italian craftsmanship, placing the Scarpets in the world of exclusive footwear. Sewn with a double sole, the linear and elegant design makes Gusèle the perfect shoe to wear both at home and outside: whether it is summer or winter, it completes any style because it is the detail that makes the difference.
Gusèle's heart is situated in Belluno, the city of the brand's creative director, Sergio Valacchi. The Scarpet collections are born from the desire to carry on the family footwear tradition and craftsmanship, adding passion, love and curiosity.
“If you love fashion and treasure tradition, this collection is for you” (S. Valacchi)
